Job Description

ProSource360 Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Architect (Subject Matter Expert II) to support a federal program in Vienna, VA. This position will work supporting our $4.3 billion DOD Healthcare Management System Modernization (DHMSM) program, providing the modernization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) capabilities for the Department of Defense. Leidos, along with core partners Cerner, Accenture, and Henry Schein, will support the DHMSM Program Executive Office (PEO) and the Defense Health Agency in the global deployment of our proposed EHR system that will deliver improved system capability to the DoD whenever and wherever healthcare is required.

Responsibilities

The Technical Architect will provide leadership to design, development, integration and sustainment (break/fix) support for systems and associated interfaces in pre- and post-deployment phases. Leadership support to technical activities to stabilize system operation and ensure suitable system performance may also be required. Analyze and study complex system requirements. Manage system implementation and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques. Estimate implementation costs and schedule. Review existing programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques. Supervise software configuration management. Review current status of system applications and prepare recommendations for systems improvements. Also, develop plans and requirements in the subject matter area for moderately complex to complex systems related to information systems architecture, networking; telecommunications, automation, communications protocols, risk management/electronic analysis, software, lifecycle management, software development methodologies, and modeling and simulation. Perform functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships. Identify resources required for each task. Possess requisite knowledge and expertise so recognized in the professional community that the government is able to qualify the individual as an expert in the field for an actual task order. Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills. Commensurate experience in IT and in new and related older technology that directly relates to the required area of expertise.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

·         BS Degree and 9 years’ experience.

·         US Citizen

·         Able to obtain an ADP2/IT2 Public Trust Eligible based on the minimum Tier 3 investigation

·         EHR system architecture and implementation

·         Board technical solution architect knowledge on Performance, scalability, AWS Cloud, infrastructure, Data, database or other areas

·         Familiar with HL7 messages and integration engine is a big plus

·         Familiar with Cerner Healthcare Products

·         Troubleshooting of deployed IT systems, including database 

·         Requirements interpretation and decomposition

·         Software development methodologies, including testing

Preferred Qualifications

·         Cybersecurity implementations

·         Identity and access management
