Job Description

ProSource360 Consulting Services, Inc. is looking for a Project Manager to support Office on Smoking and Health within the CDC.  The Project Manager will plan and oversee all work to ensure it is completed in a timely fashion. He/She/They will develop solution-oriented approaches to triage and coordinate work requirements to produce efficiencies, productivity, and clear communication patterns. The PM will supervise and provide day-to-day oversight, coordination, guidance, and direction over the work of the contractor workforce to ensure that the same level of quality defined in the scope of work is provided in each unit where work is taking place. Manage to ensure continual full administrative coverage and ensure timely and exceptional quality of work assignments.  He/She/They will communicate issues affecting OSH operations to the OSH PMO and COR and provide information on how such issues are to be handled to minimize their effects on OSH operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a quality control plan for assessing, monitoring, measuring, communicating, tracking, and reporting performance/quality of business services
  • Provide a management point of contact to handle situations within one business day when the quality of the services does not meet the standards
  • Provide a contact person to serve as back up to contractor staff, when necessary, so contract labor hours are met, and ensure all work is completed within the required time for the task.
  • Communicate to COR clearly, at least 2 business days in advance, when staff will be taking scheduled leave and who will be performing back up services
  • Ensure contract staff follow all CDC policies and procedures for on-site contractors. For example, but not covered by government funds, tracking, and ensuring on-site staff complete annual training requirements.
  • Ensure that contract staff understand their roles and responsibilities as compared to OSH full time employees (FTEs).

Qualifications

Required Experience & Education

  • Master’s Degree in Public Health or Business and a minimum of 10 years’ experience or similar
  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience
  • A minimum of 5 years senior level project management experience, including demonstrated knowledge of principles and concepts, and expertise in Microsoft project or use of Excel GANTT charts for project management
  • Knowledge of CDC’s time and attendance policies and systems, CDC/HHS travel policies and systems and the CDC CAMS system and related policies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with executives or senior staff
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Advanced skills using the Microsoft Office 365
