Job Description

ProSource360 Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking an Inpatient Services SME to support the Defense Healthcare Management Systems Modernization (DHMSM) Electronic Health Records project.

Responsibilities

The Inpatient Services SME uses professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways. As part of the clinical team, helps establish and recommend changes to processes to continue to optimize the electronic health record design. The individual is responsible for client satisfaction and quality of services delivered. Some barrier-to-entry (I.e. dept/peer review) exist at this level.  Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. May act as an advisor to unit or sub-units, becomes actively involved as required to meet schedules or resolve problems.  In addition:

  • Supports the workflow analysis of new MHS GENESIS capabilities and optimization of existing capabilities
  • Assist in the development and analysis of materials/processes/clinical workflows to support the end user in MHS GENESIS
  • Deep knowledge of hospital system, acute care, and ambulatory processes
  • Understands the business practices and deployment of technology into DOD Healthcare environments
  • Prepare and conduct virtual demonstrations to approving stakeholders within a non-production MHS GENESIS environment
  • Deep content knowledge of multiple Cerner solutions
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal presentation
  • Lead project workflow sessions with the Functional Solution Owner and project team, document needed changes, and approvals
  • Participate in large scale Functional Validation events
  • Able to prioritize multiple project assignments under multiple Project Managers
  • May be asked to travel and assist with on-site go-live and adoption activities as assigned
  • Individuals in this job family will have regular interaction with multiple commercial and government clients

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • RN Inpatient operational experience
  • Deep Cerner competency of PowerChart
  • Skills in developing operational workflows, updating PDF’s, and the use of Workflow Designer
  • Skills in developing operationally relevant test scripts and supporting testing activities
  • Expert presentation skills for virtual meetings and end-user presentations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BSN (BS in Nursing) or MS) and 5 years related experience
  • Able to obtain and maintain a ADP IT-II Public Trust based on the minimum of a Tier 3 investigation
  • US Citizenship required
  • Fully Vaccinated
  • HOURS will vary based on time zones
