Overview of the Role:

Urogynecologist Seeking Physician Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our team, with responsibilities split evenly between the operating room and the clinic. Our practice focuses on treating women with pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence.

While this position is full-time, we are open to accommodating a 4-day work week if that better suits your needs. Our team is passionate about providing exceptional patient care, and we pride ourselves on having a strong, collaborative environment both in the clinic and the operating room.

Prior operating room experience is preferred but not required. We look forward to welcoming a new member to our enthusiastic team!

Essential Job Duties:

  • Greet patients and gather medical information

  • Give physical exams to make correct diagnoses

  • Work with Physicians and Nurses to prescribe and administer medications

  • Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment

  • Instruct patients and their families about best practices at home

  • Document and update patient records

  • Refer patients to specialists or order laboratory tests as needed

  • OR experience Prefered 

  • Knowledge of the professional medical practice and care to give and evaluate patient care

  • Knowledge of organizations policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care

  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care

  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment

  • Skilled in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of medicine to provide on-going patient care

  • Skilled in taking medical history, assessing medical conditions and interpreting finds

  • Skilled in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence

  • Skilled in developing and maintaining department quality assurance

  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public

  • Ability to maintain quality control standards
    Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situation

  • Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures

  • Ability to communicate clearly

 

 


 

Qualifications

Education/Certificate/License

  • Graduate from accredited Physician’s Assistant program with Surgical training.

  • Certification from the National Commission of Physician's Assistants.

 

The compensation for this vacancy is of $120K Annual, with potential for higher compensation based of skillset and experience level.
