**Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital is looking to expand our services! There are openings for this position in Full-Time, Part-Time, and As-Needed covering all shifts. Come grow with us!**

Performs screening duties for patients, guests and team members entering facilities using infrared thermometers and scripted screening questions during periods of influenza or other pandemic periods. 

Provides appropriate assistance to patients. Greets patients (using AIDET) upon arrival, ensures orders and other documentation are accurate, checks patients in using appropriate departmental procedures and issues beepers when appropriate.  Secures wheelchair if needed and directs patients to appropriate location, personally escorting them if at all possible.

Provides general assistance to family members and visitors. Greets guests (using AIDET) upon their approach to desk/area and offers appropriate assistance with information, directions, maps, written materials, etc.  Escorts guests and assists with wheelchairs as appropriate.  Assists lost individuals in hallways.  Orients family members to waiting rooms, explains patient tracking systems and visitation guidelines, and provides comfort items to families and visitors.  Assists in keeping waiting areas clean and helps visitors to find alternative waiting accommodations when overcrowding occurs.  

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: 1 year customer service position experience.
