You in The Role and on The Team:  In this role you are a seasoned technologist with a background in Engineering and Robotics, preferably with Warehouse and/or Supply Chain experience.  Your experience includes a deep understanding of the software and mechanics of Robotics including, Drivers, Cameras, autonomous vehicles and robots that move.   This is a hands-on role with growth potential.

A Day in the Life

• Lead a team identifying, designing and building autonomous robots
• Turn onsite observations and data into action plans to increase reliability and performance of existing fleet of robots and improvements in future designs
• Champion fact-based continuous improvement and agile practices to enhance productivity and agility.
• Understand and reduce the total cost of ownership of Prime Robotics robots for us and our customers over time.
• Oversee technology risk management including advising on manufacturing and sourcing strategies as well as security capabilities to protect company and client data.
• Participate in company-wide decision making and strategy planning while working with various department heads to understand needs and opportunities in current systems and processes.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, assessing their potential for enhancing our competitive edge.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to ensure seamless convergence of hardware and software components.
• Offer strategic guidance on the latest advancements in robotics technology and industry best practices.

Key success factors

• Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary tech teams and developing talent.
• Strong Mechanical and Electrical Skills
• Proficiency in Robotics Engineering, Robotics Software, or a related field.
• Proven systems engineering skills understanding and optimizing complex interactions between software, hardware, sensors, data feeds and 3rd party devices.
• Demonstrated experience working with complex robots in the field.  Experience with automating warehouses with industrial robots is highly desirable.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

The Salary: $150,000-225,000
