Job Description

The Director/Sr. Manager of Digital Marketing role will consist primarily of developing, managing, and administering digital demand generation programs and campaigns that support the overall marketing and sales strategy for both new business sales and sales into the existing customer base, including:

  • Planning digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising.
  • Maintaining our social media presence across all digital channels.
  • Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.

Within this process, it will be essential to incorporate consistent and dependable reporting and analysis on the effectiveness of such campaigns and provide recommendations for necessary adjustments, thereby consistently nurturing leads throughout the funnel. This position requires strong, hands-on knowledge of HubSpot, analytic skills, and the ability to turn data into useful information which supports goals and objectives. In addition, a general understanding of sales processes and the ability to effectively create and maintain positive relationships among other departments, particularly the sales department, is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Design, build, and maintain our social media presence
  • Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Create landing pages and optimize the user experience
  • Utilize the solid analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Proven working experience (5-7 Years) in digital marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Highly creative with experience identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience with A/B experiments.
  • Certified in HubSpot Marketing, Content Marketing, Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Inbound Marketing, Digital Advertising, and Reporting preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Microsoft Office skills required, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge and prior experience as a HubSpot administrator.
  • Requires a high level of organization, motivation, and ability to meet deadlines and stay within budget.
