Job Description

We’re looking for a driven and passionate Motion Control & Planning Engineer to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This role will have experience designing motion planning systems in C++ and Python to control our AMR Robots. This role reports to the Head of Engineering at Prime Robotics and will work out of our Denver, Colorado headquarters.

  • Strong understanding of ROS and Python
  • Familiar with development on Linux systems and proficient in control algorithms such as PID and EKF.
  • Prior experience in robotics, path planning, navigation, localization, and perception.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in robot controller design and familiar with dynamic simulation and dynamic controller design
  • Sensor fusion experience with LiDar, ultrasonic, visual, radar, etc
  • Experience in SLAM, OpenCV plus
  • Chinese language skills a plus

Compensation Range: 

  • $70,000 - $90,000 US Annually

There may be travel required for up to 2 weeks at a time during an implementation. Flexibility to work in off hours in order to coordinate with the China team will be good.
