The future is robotics and Prime is the leading robotics company in Colorado.  We are bringing to market many new robot models in the next year.  It is challenging and fun to create new machines that clients love.  Our engineering department was founded in China, but we are beginning to move engineering and manufacturing to Denver.  We have a passion for creation and hope you will too.  

Full stack developer interested in applying their skills to robotics.  As a startup we need people who are flexible to wear many hats.  Most of the time you will join in development tasks with the extended team in China, but in the beginning you will also work in support sometimes to gain experience and help us until we can build a dedicated support team.  You will also join in implementations in US and internationally if you are open to it.

For your primary engineering tasks you will develop back end functionality for our robotics systems.  Ability to design and implement an API and good database log reading capability are necessary for success.  Building and enhancing interfaces with the back end systems of our customers 

We seek developers either strong in software development or experienced with robots.  

For the software developers we seek:

• 2-5 years Java development
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong math skills
• Attention to clean coding practices
• Problem solving and can do attitude
• Requirements analysis ability
• Understanding of container technologies like Kubernetes

Nice to have:

• Robotics development in ROS or SLAM
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience
• Simulations with Matlab, Simulink or Gazebo

Participation in the on-call schedule is required. There may be travel required for up to 2 weeks at a time during an implementation.  Flexibility to work in off hours in order to coordinate with the China team is desired.
