Company Description

Prime Robotics designs and builds robots for warehouses and factories.  We are a dynamic, entrpreneurial company.  After building up our engineering team in China, we are now ready to go to market and build up the US team.  Our first version of our warehouse robots reduce warehouse operating expenses by 70% and we are just about to introduce an entirely new robot platform that will disrupt the supply chain industry forever.  We believe our market potential will be 5X Kiva Systems.  We are currently self funded, but look to take on Series A investment this year.

You will be responsible for financial operations in Prime's international locations.

Job Description

Take the lead of the finance department at Prime Robotics.  You will set up the SOP for operations.  Help in financial analysis and provide input to product development as we aim to simplify robot design and drive down costs and drive up adoption.

  • Develop financial and other applicable plans to realize strategic goals and deliver on the execution.
  • Drive Series A Fundraising round for Prime
  • Establish Budget process and Monthly/Quarterly BvA reviews
  • Lead the process of attracting sufficient resources for realization of Prime Robotics strategy: debt and equity. 
  • Manage global tax strategies, compliance and audits, employment and business regulatory environments, and exchange rate strategies.
  • Manage key external relationships with a wide range of constituents including  investment bankers, investors, commercial bankers, business partners, insurers, key vendors, lawyers and audit professionals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and or CPA preferred.
  • Experience with modern mid-tier accounting systems
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis and prepare financial statements Self-starter who thrives in start-up environments.
  • 10-plus years of financial and business leadership.
  • Experience is Traditional Series A,B, C fundraising rounds
  • Experience building pitch decks
  • Experience with modern mid-tier accounting systems
  • Track record setting up SoPs
  • Forecasting experience in order to do production planning
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills; must be able to confidently and effectively communicate finance and accounting concepts to those who are unfamiliar with financial terms.
  • Experience being part of a company’s transition from research and discovery to full commercialization and launch is a plus

There may be travel required for up to 2 weeks at a time during an implementation.  Flexibility to work in off hours in order to coordinate with the China team will be good.
