We are actively recruiting entry-level workers (and already-qualified natural gas mechanics) who can work hard in the heat and cold, under intense pressure to perform. No education required. If you work hard and show aptitude, we would invest in classroom and on-the-job training to help you qualify to become an NGA-certified natural gas mechanic in as quickly as 18-24 months where salaries can reach $63/hour plus benefits. With 550+ hours of overtime, at union pay rates, it's possible to earn $200,000 each year.

Job Description

Construction equipment Operators use machinery to move construction materials, earth, and other heavy materials at construction sites and mines. Equipment is used to clear and grade land to prepare it for construction of roads, buildings and other structures.

The following are examples of types of construction equipment operators:

Construction equipment operators work with one or several types of power construction equipment. They may operate excavation and loading machines equipped with scoops, shovels, or buckets that dig sand, gravel, earth, or similar materials. In addition to operating backhoes, they operate trench excavators, road graders, milling machines, rollers and similar equipment. Sometimes, they may drive, and control industrial trucks or tractors equipped with forklifts or booms for lifting materials. They may also operate and maintain air compressors, pumps, and other power equipment at construction sites.

Paving and surfacing equipment operators control the machines that spread and level asphalt or spread and smooth concrete for roadways or other structures. Paving and surfacing equipment operators may specialize further:

  • Work outdoors (including hot and cold weathers)
  • Train on the job
  • Grow with the company



  • Must have worked at least two years in hard manual labor (construction, etc.)

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Positive team-based attitude
  • Good work ethic
