Marketing and Business Development Associate

Job Description

  • Attend and represent the company at business meetings, networking events, meet-and-greets, industry and consortia meetings.
  • Identify and cultivate new business relationships through existing clients and prospects.
  • Pursue and foster business relationships to include government POCs and industry partner network.
  • Present capabilities to prospects and partners in person and via teleconference.
  • Perform Business Development support duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with BD team to develop business cases and proposals.
  • Maintain company CRM to include pipeline revenue and reporting.
  • Manage, present and report BD pipeline activities on a weekly basis.
  • Present business cases and proposals when needed.
  • Respond to data calls as needed.
  • May be required to support Enlightened’s Mentor Protégé Program.
  • May be required to participate in program development hand-off.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business or related field.
  • 5+ years of Marketing, Sales, and/or Business Development experience or equivalent combination of experience.
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Experience working in government contracting is a must.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and writing skills.
  • Proficient in critical thinking and pragmatic problem solving.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving market and technological trends.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach to business development.
  • Exceptionally competitive and self-driven.
  • Possess a healthy curiosity about the industry, market, company, and competition.
  • Possess a passion for communicating the benefits of great services to potential clients.
