We are seeking an experienced Tester to provide application testing, change management, and release management support for a Federal Government’s IT infrastructure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, prepare, and conduct testing in coordination with the PMO, the Test Manager, and product line support contractors.
• Evaluate entrance criteria/artifacts prior to testing. Prior to testing, generate and/or update testing documentation to include test schedule, test plans, and test use cases/scenarios/scripts.
• Prepare materials for and conduct Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) for product releases.
• Perform and manage UAT testing for product releases using automated and manual methodologies.
• Verify that products functions properly after application specific Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) alerts, bulletins, etc., have been applied to the system.
• Support Change Management (CM) and Release Management (RM) processes
• Track and update the status of defects, enhancements, and change requests for select product lines.
• Attend and participate in meetings that involve testing to include briefings, work group sessions and CCBs/ERBs
• Assist with the update of Service Life Cycle Support documents. These documents are related to the sustainment of the capabilities and may include CONOPs, CM Plan, Techniques, Tactics and Procedures (TTPs), Incident Response Plan (IRP), Requirements, Impact Analyses, Continuous Monitoring Strategy, and Trend Analyses.

• 7+ years of work experience in software development and testing
• 5+ years use to bug tracking tools such as JIRA, code repositories such as GIT, build tools such as Jenkins and scripting tools such as Maven or Gradle
• 3+ years of experience in defining test acceptance criteria, developing test plans/use cases/scenarios/scripts and documenting test results
• 3+ years managing and performing UAT testing
• 3+ years use of automation and load testing tools such as JMeter, Selenium, Rational and LoadRunner
• 3+ years leading Test Readiness Review for product releases
• Good knowledge of STIG, IAVAs and security patches
• 2+ years of experience in software product functional testing after applying IA compliance to the system
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Desired - DoD application development and testing experience, DISA software change management and release management experience
