Primary Source Care are currently recruiting for Care Assistants to work at our client's nursing home in Leeds providing high quality care to adults aged 60 and over with a range of health needs.

Full time, part time and ad-hoc positions available, with hourly rates of pay ranging from £8.50 - £10.00.

About the client

The nursing home is located in the heart of Roundhay and surrounded by beautiful scenery, including Roundhay Park and Soldiers Field. The facility includes 40 beds with en-suite bathrooms.

The home, and the staff, are experienced in taking on a variety of complex needs when it comes to caring for the residents. Staff are qualified to the highest levels and a full training compliance structure is in place with regular in house training sessions as well as external classes and courses being encouraged for all staff.

The home provides activities that respond to each individual patient and their needs, providing both group care and one-to-one care based on the requirements, which cater to both mental and physical health.Some examples of these activities are weekly chair exercise, a reminiscence museum and musical therapy.

What we need from you

You will need to have at least six months' experience working in a care/supported living environment, and ideally hold a Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care, although it is more important that you have a positive, can-do attitude and the willingness to undertake further on-the-job training. All successful candidates will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check before they can commence working with service users.
