We are looking for an impact-driven, dynamic, and creative individual to execute best-in-class social campaigns for Pride Media Properties: Out.com, The Advocate, Pride.com, and Out Traveler. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial, strategic thinker to scale the impact and performance of paid social efforts in reaching and engaging our digital and IRL community, and leveraging insights to inform organic social strategy.
Our Social Media Manager will drive and execute media planning, distribution and targeting strategies, and creative content for Pride’s paid social campaigns, with an eye towards innovation and performance. This individual will play an important role in developing and sharing content and audience insights to internal stakeholders, and leveraging reporting to collaborate with social editors and drive organic social channel tactics.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about ensuring that we’re always putting our community first (and can prove it in the data) and extending and amplifying the reach of our content to audiences via strategic social tactics.
This role will report into the Director of Audience Development, and collaborate closely with our Social Editors, Editorial, and Sales & Marketing teams to deliver cohesive, engaging, and impactful social media campaigns for clients and core content initiatives.

Develop clear paid social strategies and media plans to align with campaign objectives - reach, awareness, traffic, engagement, and/or acquisition
Deliver internal and external campaign reporting against paid social KPIs
Collaborate with Audience Development & Analytics to develop an insights-driven social media content strategy and audience development growth plan to achieve monthly targets
Brainstorm community and influencer extensions for paid social campaigns, identifying fresh voices and tactics to expand reach and engagement
Help us ideate and launch paid social content franchises and social revenue programs
Help identify paid social partnerships to drive growth
Collaborate with Social Editors to engage our community across paid campaigns
Participate in daily social trend stand-ups to identify real-time engagement opportunities
Contribute to building a robust and curated calendar around tentpole opportunities with consideration of business initiatives, seasonality, real-time trends, pop culture, current events and news
Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media - including influencer & social partnerships, emerging channels and new paid social products to ensure we’re innovating, evolving, and growing!
3+ years of experience driving paid social media campaigns for high-growth businesses, with a proven track record of delivering against KPIs
Flexible, responsive, self-starter attitude with strong attention to detail and solutions-oriented instincts. You must be organized, positive, collaborative, and resourceful.
Deep understanding of social platforms and their paid and organic activation capabilities - including technical specs, ad products, audience targeting, creative best practices, and native analytics across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat, and emerging channels.
Ability to synthesize data and trends into actionable insights, and influence best practices across cross-functional teams
A passion for our user, with a curiosity to optimize paid social strategies to maximize audience engagement
Experience working cross-functionally with all levels of management, internally and externally
