Job Description

Your impact:

As a Claims Team Supervisor, you will:

· Effectively manage a team of Claims Adjusters & Claims Support Representatives, while they process & handle all aspects of the claims process, from initial complaint to final resolution. You will provide ongoing coaching, mentoring & training and will help support an atmosphere that affords team members the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential. This includes conducting regular one-on-one meetings with team members & effectively communicating the expectations & accountabilities while providing feedback in a constructive manner.

· Serve as a subject matter expert on all PWI products and claims processes, policies, and procedures. You will master all related software applications, examples of these applications include PWI internal applications, Five9 platform, ADP, third party parts/inspection websites, and more. You will use this complex working knowledge to effectively assist internal/external customers and other members of PWI while providing the highest level of customer service & care.

· Lead with a servant leadership approach. You will communicate in a professional, courteous & concise manner and be an example for the department while setting the standards for others to follow. You will serve as liaison & will nurture relationships with everyone in which you interact, including all PWI team members, dealer partners, repair centers, part suppliers, and other vendors. You are a PWI brand ambassador & will ensure PWI is always aligned with industry standards & contractual obligations.

· Analyze & evaluate the claims process, including the monitoring of call center phone service levels. You will evaluate employee performance thru individual metrics, results of claim & phone audits, interpersonal & communication skills, and response to coaching. You will participate in company initiatives & risk analysis to help design and implement claims training programs & business process enhancements to better serve our customers while meeting individual, department, & company performance goals.

In short, our Claims Team Supervisors will provide proactive servant leadership & guidance to the team to achieve maximum performance in a method consistent with PWI’s vision and values

Qualifications

You have:

· Minimum 3 years of previous claims adjudication experience as a supervisor or team lead with a VSC provider

· Extensive experience in the automotive service industry including previous mechanic/technician and/or service advising/writing experience including strong understandings of automotive repair shop procedures and practices

· Exceptional customer service principles & practices with strong problem-solving, negotiation, time management & communication skills

· Positive attitude with a passion for growth & a zest for learning

· ASE Certification(s) in one or more areas (preferred)

In addition, you will:

· Be comfortable sitting for extended periods & working on the phone or other platforms for most of your shift.

· Be well versed using a computer and navigating multiple programs (including but not limited to Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)

· Be personable & pleasant to engage with callers throughout the country as well as your fellow coworkers

This position is not offered to anyone residing outside of the United States or in California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, or Hawaii.

If you live within 75 miles of the Phoenix metro area in AZ or Orwigsburg, PA - a full remote position is not available (ask for details on possible Hybrid Remote positions & opportunities).

Position requires sitting for extended periods in an office type environment with some walking and standing. Frequent & constant use of telephone (softphone with a headset) and company supplied computer & related equipment.

For 2022, this position has up to 4 weeks of paid time off available (hire date determines exact PTO bank for the calendar year) not including 5 additional days our office will be closed for observed holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day observed Monday 12/26).
