Job Description
AZZ has an exciting 1st shift opportunity for an Electrocoat Technician at our Terrell Texas facility.
Duties and Responsibilities.
- Performs chemical titrations and bath analysis in the various stages of pre-treatment and electro coat systems, as well as physical tests.
- Manage wastewater treatment systems to meet regulatory requirements and minimize environmental impact.
- Maintains inventories of chemicals and test supplies.
- Maintains the performance on the paint line process.
- Maintains the multi-stage pre-treatment, Electro coat, DI water and RO water systems within required operational parameters
- Collects samples and performs routine in-lab tests as required
- Maintains a log of operations and maintenance activities and related records
Qualifications
- Applicable health & safety training.
- 3+ years’ experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must have and maintain valid driver license.
- Must have the ability to perform basic control laboratory testing and understanding and applying results.
Minimum Education
- High School diploma / Vocational training or equivalent is required
