Job Description

Summary:

The purpose of this position is to support the department’s ability to achieve its goals and objectives. This includes the accurate and timely de-burring and cleaning of parts according to customer and PAC specifications. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Essential Duties: The following are the normal duties performed by this position. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Use small hand and power tools to de-burr the required number of machined parts according to customer specifications.

2. Perform visual inspection according to process documentation.

3. Mark parts appropriately with the right tools.

4. Clean parts.

5. Perform data collection and communication tasks in Job Boss and other applications.

6. Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and maintain work station to 5S standards.


Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Minimum of 3 + years successful prior inspection or small parts assembly experience.

3. Proven ability to recognize and remove burrs in metal parts.  Prior detailed manufacturing work utilizing a microscope, hand tools or other micro-manufacturing equipment preferred.

4. Blueprint reading skills desired.

5. Basic Windows and MS Office skills.

6. Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.

7. Ability to perform basic math functions.
