Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our East Midlands Nursing & Care team based at our Hillsbrough office in Sheffield.
Working out of our office in Hillsborough, Sheffield - you will be joining an already successful division as part of a motivated and dynamic team.
Your role will include:
- using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies
- matching client requirements for temporary agency staff with suitably skilled and available candidates
- meeting with new and existing clients throughout the East Midlands to build and develop relationships
- developing a good understanding of our client companies, their industry, work culture and environment
- advertising vacancies by placing adverts in a range of media and headhunting desirable candidates
- assisting with the interviewing and recruiting of new agency nurses and care staff
- building relationships with candidates and employers
- continually selling opportunities to candidates and selling candidates to businesses
- travelling throughout East Midlands (Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire) to meet with clients
This position is full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday-Friday. The office is open from 7:30am until 5:30pm, so early or late starts are requires on a rota basis.

Person Specification:
- Minimum 6-9 months in a similar role, including conducting business-to-business sales in a targeted environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Confidence and self-motivation
- Sales and negotiation ability
- Ambition and the determination to succeed
- A goal-orientated approach to work. Target driven and competitive
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving ability
- Proficient in written and verbal English
- Competent with computer systems, Microsoft Word & Outlook
- Must have full UK driving licence, with access to own vehicle
Desirable Skills / Experience:
- Prior knowledge of Healthcare and/or Social Care sectors
