The Pramata information extraction team is looking for entrepreneurial and passionate technology leader to play key role in building new products/features from our office in Bangalore.

What is Pramata

Pramata is on the verge of revolutionizing the way businesses manage their customer relationships; by extracting information embedded in complex contract documents and blending that data with other data sources like traditional CRMs and billing systems to create powerful new ways of gaining a deeper and more robust understanding of customer relationships that facilitate powerful actions.

Accurate Data (Contracts + CRM + Billing) => Actionable information to retain and grow sales

Accurate information extracted from contracts is at the center of the Pramata product.

How does Pramata do it?

Pramata uses a combination of technology and subject matter experts to extract accurate information from contract documents and then uses a strong API layer to blend the contracts data with other sources like SFDC to present the information that is most relevant to the end user through compelling user interfaces.

Creating the technologies to extract the information, blending the information and presenting it to the end user is where you come in.

The opportunity - What you get to do
  • Play a key role in build our next generation information extraction engine which is at the center of the Pramata product
  • Drive the entire product development process from ideation to implementation to release
  • Make things happen around you. Handle project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized way
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to drive great customer experiences
  • Guide team to rapidly prototype and validate solutions for complex problems
  • Not just provide technical leadership but also mentor a team of passionate developers

Qualifications

Things you already do:

  • Care deeply about the user
  • Enjoy working closely with product, design and customer teams
  • 'Get' agile and are passionate about iterating to drive results
  • Come with strong Computer Science fundamentals and experience working with Ruby on Rails or a similar web application framework.
  • Are extremely comfortable with using a Javascript library, preferably JQuery
  • Comfortable working with RDBMS like Mysql
  • Write code that is maintainable, reusable, and concise
  • Are an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills.
  • Help teams inculcating best practices like TDD, BDD and CI
  • Not only optimize your own code but make sure others are able to optimize theirs
  • Being able to decide on the architectural style that suits the situation

Bonus points:

  • Have an active GitHub account with code you’re proud of
  • Know at least one disadvantage of Naive Bayes
  • Worked with a modern web app framework like Angular, Knockout
  • Know when not to use node.js
  • Know when to and when not to build a microservice
