Job Description
The Auditor will independently review and evaluate loan applications, ensuring that they are accurate and comply with PowerPay’s policies and procedures. The role involves analyzing application document submissions to determine borrower’s credit worthiness. Auditors may also be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with the loan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

● The job involves adhering to standard compliance requirements, which includes upholding
fair-lending practices that prohibit discrimination based on factors such as race, religion, age,
sex, and other protected characteristics.
● Examining loan documents to ensure their accuracy and completion.
● Familiarizing oneself with the necessary documents for each loan and understanding the specific
requirements for each document.
● Identifying incorrect documentation and adhering to policy for correction.
● Conducting an initial audit of the documents and forwarding them to an auditor for a secondary
review.
● Understanding the timing of the funding process.
● Knowing the necessary requirements to successfully fund transactions.
● Ensuring that loans are in compliance with the appropriate credit policy, which may vary
depending on the program type and vertical.
● Requesting additional documents from merchants when necessary, and utilizing PowerPay’s LOS
to manage the document collection process.
● Active participation in weekly team calls, including asking questions and contributing to team
discussions to foster a collaborative and productive work environment
Qualifications
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Flexible and adaptable with an ability to perform in a rapidly changing dynamic and growing
work environment
● Strong attention to detail
● Strong organizational skills
● Ability to quickly learn new computer systems
