PowerPay, a fast-growing financial technology company, is seeking Software Engineers to help scale out our loan origination and servicing platforms.You will work with the existing engineering team, but the ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and help contribute to the direction of the project and team. 

We are looking for individuals who have experience (or the desire to work) in a collaborative environment and want to work with a diverse and welcoming team of engineers. 

It will be beneficial if you are able to contribute across the code base, including the React based front-end and have a strong understanding of html/css. Although not required, you will have the opportunity to dive into the AWS operations stack based on Docker containers deployed through ECS using CloudFormation scripts.

A combination of experience with (or desire to learn) the following tech stack:

• Ruby / Ruby on Rails 

• JS / React

• Git / Source Control

• PostgreSQL / RDMs

• Web Development / Security Best Practices

• Comfortable Working Remotely
