Job Description

As a Supply Chain Associate you will play a critical role in implementing the monitoring, real time tasks assigned by the Supply Chain Lead, who you will report directly to. You will also work closely with other functions.

What You’ll Make Happen:

  • Assisting the Supply Chain Lead in developing and implementing corporate policies and plans.
  • Utilize key information such as market & economic trends, product acquisition price, transport, storage and delivery costs to advise the final product prices. Carry out Price analysis on existing prices, update the pricing sheet
  • Collaborating with other team members to develop plans for transporting goods from one location to another
  • Coordinating shipping schedules and routes with transportation companies to ensure that goods arrive on time and without damage
  • issuing purchase order for non project requirements from various teams
  • Tracking and reporting all procurement of activities for all projects in real time;
  • Expediting clearing agents and freight forwarders to ensure prompt delivery of all orders both local and international;
  • Keeping Vendor / Subcontractor database and documentation updated - CAC, C02, C07, TIN, VAT;
  • Carry out Price analysis on existing prices;
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Supply Chain Lead.
  • Close monitoring of Nigerian customs and other regulatory portals
  • Clearing of goods, delivery lead time of all shipments using established trackers
  • Responsible for interface with SBU/BU on logistics and shipping

Your performance will be evaluated based on:

  • Data accuracy on all trackers on a weekly basis
  • Updated Vendor Repository per set target on vendor management
  • Other metrics that may be set by you, Supply chain lead or the Company

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years cognate experience in Procurement and Logistics management;
  • B.Sc/HND in Supply Chain Management, Finance or related commercial field;
  • Must be solutions and results-driven;
  • Be numerate and possess analytical skills;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Diligent organizational skills
