Company Description

We are looking for a talented Front End Web Developer to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimising the website, developing new landers, building split-tests, user-friendly web applications. You will work closely with our Website Designer, Back End developer and the wider marketing team to deliver a high-converting website experience that align with business goals and user needs.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Convert UI/UX designs into clean, efficient, and reusable code.

  • Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to improve usability and functionality.

  • Working with our analysts to set up tracking using gTag and split-tests.

  • Optimise applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Troubleshoot and debug website issues and performance bottlenecks.

  • Maintain code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices.

  • Stay up to date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends.

  • Ensure websites meet accessibility and SEO/AEO standards.

  • Develop responsive and interactive web applications using modern front-end technologies.


 

THE SKILLS

  • Minimum two years’ experience in front end web development (with proven results).

  • Experience with modern frameworks/libraries (ideally React.js).

  • Familiarity with mobile-first development and website responsiveness design.

  • Experience using version control systems such as Git.

  • Understanding of REST APIs and integration with back-end services.

  • Knowledge of web performance optimisation techniques.

  • A natural problem-solver, capable of identifying challenges and delivering solutions.

  • Excellent organisation and project management skills, ensuring deadlines are met.

  • A fast learner, and comfortable adapting to new tools and technologies.

THE LOCATION

  • Office/Hybrid

    • Can be full time in the office at Hopton-on-Sea or Hybrid with a set two days in the office.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
