Postal.io is looking for a motivated eCommerce Fulfillment Intern to join the Marketplace team to ensure excellence in our fulfillment practices. In this internship, this person will become a subject matter expert in the Postal marketplace and will work closely with our vendors, as well as various internal teams. This is a part time position of 10-20 hours per week and is a paid internship.
Gain an understanding of our platform and processes through training and self learning.
Monitor inventory to ensure any items with little or no stock are removed from the online marketplace.
Place and track orders with vendors.
Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts, etc).
Follow up with vendors as needed to track or change orders.
Identify areas of opportunity and suggest solutions or process improvements.
Assist with miscellaneous data entry tasks for various departments.
Ability to work alone with minimal supervision and as part of a group.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Systems and Computer Savvy – MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and format.
Self motivated and able to have fun!
