There is a shift in the way companies are marketing and selling. Digital advertising and email marketing has reached its efficient frontier with diminishing returns. Events have gone virtual. Postal’s platform and marketplace has proven that scalable, personalized, offline engagement in a buyer's journey can increase conversion rates up to 3x. We are now looking to tell this story to the world.
As Postal starts to scale post product market fit, we are looking for a Head of Marketing to join our executive team. This person will own the customer buying journey to sales handoff post free trial. You must have experience in building a scalable marketing funnel in a product lead SaaS organization and have built trust and confidence in customer, vendor, and partner networks. At Postal, you will be our public thought leader and design, implement, and monitor effective marketing strategies that align with our business goals. You will strive to ensure that the activities of the marketing department directly contribute to the company’s long-term success.
Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee the company’s digital footprint, community relations, demand generation activities, marketing campaigns, and special events, while building a strong team and implementing tools/assets to enhance Postal.io’s marketing performance.
Create and implement innovative multi-channel marketing strategies & campaigns via strong collaboration with the GTM team
Provide input to the product team regarding initiatives that can support key marketing objectives
Establish a powerful marketing funnel and ensuring leads are qualified when entering the sales pipeline
Develop our sales/ marketing roadmap (in collaboration with the VP of Sales) to align marketing and sales and to generate the best leads, keep them engaged, and connect with them at the right time to close more deals
Analyze and interpret internal sales data to inform business decisions and make data backed recommendations to executive leadership and partners
Provide ongoing tracking, measurement, KPI, and ROI analysis for the team’s marketing initiatives and campaigns to provide clear, actionable insights that inform and inspire communication for strategic calendar and brand initiatives
10+ years in high-growth, B2B SaaS or technology companies.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in marketing, communications, public relations or related field. MBA preferred.
Expert knowledge of Hubspot and/or Marketo and Salesforce and skilled at managing marketing platforms and automation such as Hubspot, Google Analytics, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
Proven experience with ideation through to concept development and execution, with the ability to effectively project manage and handle many competing deadlines.
A passion for outside-of-the-box innovation and a deep understanding of tomorrow’s groundbreaking technologies, trends, and consumer needs
Innate drive to roll-up your sleeves and get things done; a self-starter, productive working independently or collaboratively.
Proven ability to design and execute high performance, integrated marketing strategies and campaigns and establishing processes where they may not currently exist.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; a natural storyteller and creative problem solver; native in both digital and physical worlds; a collaborator with a constant curiosity and a learning mentality who likes to execute on the tactics as much as setting the strategy.
