The single corporate service is delivered across both organisation. You may be based at either IWT or PHU and individuals may be required to undertake business travel between sites. For leaders managing staff across multi-site locations, you will need to be visible and provide in person leadership. The arrangements and frequency will be agreed locally.

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Single Corporate Services – Compliance Team, supporting both Isle of Wight NHS Trust (IWT) and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (PHU).
As a Compliance Team Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring both Trusts meet their legal and regulatory obligations associated with, ensuring robust processes are in place, and undertaking administrative duties to support the requirements associated with this.
The post reports to the Compliance Manager and is accountable to the Associate Director of Quality Governance.
This role works across both Trusts as part of a shared corporate service, with the expectation of occasional travel between sites in line with service needs and the staff mobility agreement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Compliance and Compliance Manager in the delivery of the requirements of quality and regulatory compliance.
- Day to day administration of compliance related modules within the Trust’s risk management systems.
- Maintain processes in place for the routine compliance regarding matters, including policy management, safety alerts (CAS) and External visits.
- Administrative duties for the Head of Compliance including diary management, meeting arrangements, minuting and general administration duties as required.
- Support the Head of Compliance and Compliance Manager in the delivery of: Care Quality Commission regulation and compliance, Safety alert (CAS) monitoring and compliance, External Visits.
- Provide administrative support in matters relating to the CQC, including enquiries, inspections, and the collation of information requests.
- Provide oversight of the Trust’s central policy system, including administration of the Trust Policy Steering Group
- To administer the safety alerts process and to ensure they are accurately documented, distributed and monitored, escalating any areas of non-compliance to the Head of Compliance.
- Administrative support in the development and monitoring of the Trust’s annual Quality Account.
- To be the first point of contact for the Compliance team and management of the associated inboxes, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
About You
We are looking for a motivated, organised individual with experience in governance and quality within a healthcare environment.
You will be confident working autonomously, managing priorities while knowing when to seek advice or escalate concerns.

Qualifications
- G.C.S.E (or equivalent) in English and Maths or equivalent experience.
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience.
- Experience in working in administration.
- Effective verbal, telephone and written communication skills.
