We are seeking a dental hygienist to join our established team as we say goodbye to a valued colleague who is returning home. This role offers the opportunity to step into a consistently full and well-maintained hygiene book, caring for a loyal patient base while making a meaningful impact on their long-term oral health as part of a thriving and respected practice.

Our hygienists are supported with modern technology and equipment, including Cavitron ultrasonic scaling, EMS Airflow One, Airflow Handy handpieces, intraoral cameras, and access to two intraoral scanners on site. In addition, our dedicated full-time Central Sterilisation Unit (CSU) nurse ensures clinical support is always available, allowing our clinicians to focus on delivering the highest standard of patient care.

Portobello Dental Clinic, Dublin Part-Time | 24 Hours per Week | 1 Saturday per Month

This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving practice with a consistently full hygiene book and strong demand for hygiene services.

The position will comprise approximately 24 hours per week, with the final schedule to be agreed once confirmation of new clinic schedule. One Saturday per month will be required.

An established hygiene session is available immediately:

• Thursday: 2:00pm to 8:00pm

The remaining sessions will become available from December 2026, allowing for a smooth transition and continuity of care for our patients.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a fully qualified Dental Hygienist
• Hold current registration with the Irish Dental Council
• Hold appropriate professional indemnity insurance
• Demonstrate excellent communication and patient care skills
• Be committed to providing high-quality preventative and periodontal care
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Experience with EXACT dental software is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
