Job Description
The Sales Development Representative’s role is to initiate sales conversations that don’t feel like sales conversations. Through a variety of communication strategies, you will identify if an organization would be a viable prospect according to preset variables by your sales leader, and then use your communication skills to impart insights and most importantly, to find the right person to speak with and set up meetings.
Qualifications
- Interest in pursuing a career in sales
- Must have cold calling experience (8 mos - 1 year minimum)
Motivated self-starter
- Outgoing personality
A little more about the role, and what is expected:
Intensive prospecting via phone and email is expected, you should be highly creative in finding/identifying leads
You’ll fill our pipeline by setting calls and meetings with qualified leads for the business development team
Deliver on productivity goals
Leverage your superb follow-up skills
Exhibit a strong “can-do” attitude
Maintain complete notes in Hubspot CRM system
Have great writing skills
Be your genuine self
Have a direct impact in a startup environment
Be passionate and curious
Be tech & social media savvy (proficient in Google Suite)
