Job Summary
The Senior Product Management is a strategic role positioned to help drive the organization further and faster as we reimagine whats possible in healthcare. The Senior Product Manager is responsible for executing on the Product Management lifecycle for existing products. You will leverage your expertise in product ideation, design, management, and implementation to lead multi-disciplinary teams of internal and external stakeholders. The Senior Product Manager must be able to translate the business goals/vision into concepts and business requirements, be able to manage and deliver initiatives that fulfill the goals/vision and demonstrate organizational core values that model a customer-first / patient-first mindset.
The ideal candidate will greatly accelerate our product efforts and will thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires creative planning, regular course corrections, and the ability to dynamically adjust to new opportunities, technologies, and business plans. Excellent thought leadership, extreme ownership, and strategic thinking will be key for a successful candidate in this role.
This position will continuously seek to answer the most pressing questions related to product performance, such as How do we manage cost of care while improving quality (outcomes)?, How do we remain competitive in the evolving healthcare landscape (what are prospects/customers wanting)?, Who are the most vulnerable patients and what improvements can we take to better care for them (patient experience)?
Position Essential Functions:
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Drive product performance
- Patient Outcomes, Engagement, Retention, Experience
- Prioritize product/enhancement backlog with business strategic goals and identify product/enhancement tradeoffs
- Set clear goals and objectives to measure the success of products and features
- Drive priority & clarity of investment decisions as measured by increased revenues and lives, PX measures, and other deemed product performance measures
- Drive more capitalization measured by Capex/EBITDA growth
- Drive current book of business performance measured by increased enrollment or increased sustained enrollment
- Actively drive the design and change management process for enhancements to existing product: ideation sessions, concept development, market, and customer research, etc.
- Support the development of business cases and clearly understand expected business value and outcomes
- Support management of the product roadmap
- Direct work efforts through Workgroup framework: project coordination, performance monitoring and measuring, and resource management
- Maintain leadership visibility and alignment
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth product launch, increase adoption, and overall product/services/enhancements success (senior management, vendors/partners, clients, members, Marketing, IT, etc.)
- Collect and analyze feedback, needs, or trends with clients, members, or market competitors
- Work with customers to ensure a smooth launch of products/services/enhancements
- Understand enterprise portfolio and inter-relations between product offerings
Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of Product leadership/management
- Demonstrated healthcare understanding/knowledge required
- Knowledge and experience with technical/healthcare systems
- Direct client interfacing and relationship management experience
- Experience with large scale projects and developing solutions
- Experience working with data analytics to improve existing solutions and/or develop new solutions
Preferred:
- 3-5 years of consumer experience design
- UX/CX design certifications
- Masters degree
- Consulting experience
- Services as a product experience
- Local candidate
Other requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 25% (may be more within condensed project timelines)
Open office environment Primarily flexible but within office attendance variable
