Job Description

Points is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team for a permanent position.

In this newly created role, you’re going to be supporting our Talent Acquisition for all of our teams. You have an eye for details and are a match maker extraordinaire! But you also bring your own style to the process because you love speaking with people because you’re a natural connector. 

Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, this is what you’ll do:

  • You’ll be focused on our searches and hire our employees at all levels, and help with international searches
  • You’ll be leading a full-cycle recruitment process including for up to 10 roles, always iterating on processes and tracking data. 
  • You like building a strong recruitment pipeline through active use of social media, and other creative recruitment strategies. 
  • Supporting and collaborating with hiring managers is important to you. You want to make sure you help them make the right hire for Points Values and assess core competencies.
  • You love data, and work cross functionally by tracking and reporting recruitment data and analytics.
  • You’ve got a customer service mindset and the candidate experience is important to you - you craft relationships with candidates in the market by showcasing our culture.
  • You’re in-tune with the market - you’re constantly finding out ways to keep us competitive in the marketplace with talent (events, job fairs, etc).
  • Collaborating and supporting the HR team on special projects and research initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years recruitment experience for talent in a fast paced environment (preference will be given to candidates that have worked with technical and product searches!)
  • LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS and HRIS experience (we use SmartRecruiters and BambooHR).
  • Experience with situational and behavioral based interviewing techniques.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. The devil is in the details!
  • Comfortable working independently within a highly collaborative and changing work environment.
