Pocket Points started as an idea at Chico State in Northern California. The problem of smartphone usage in the classroom was obvious so we decided to create a solution. We thought to ourselves...What would incentivize students to stay off their phones more than free food? By partnering with local businesses who were willing to offer discounts through the app, Pocket Points was born. 

Ever since, Pocket Points has been expanding to additional schools as fast as possible to keep up with the demand of students, teachers, and businesses. Currently, Pocket Points is available at over 200 schools in the United States and Canada.

Status: Full Time, DOE

Pocket Points is looking for a passionate UI/UX Designer! In this position, you will be responsible for design development, online content creation and print design. Our ideal team member has the skills and motivation to turn ideas into visual concepts in a timely manner while also bringing their own ideas to the table. 

Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for visual explorations and tasks

• Develop and execute a roadmap/ plan of action with our tech team

• Effectively manage tasks, deadlines and a heavy workload

• Create up-to-date content that aligns with our team and company goals

Requirements

• Proven graphic designing experience

• Up to date with industry-leading software and technologies

• Previous UI/UX experience

• Highly proficient in all design aspects

• 2-4 years of graphic design experience

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar software

• UI/UX experience
