Pocket Points started as an idea at Chico State in Northern California. The problem of smartphone usage in the classroom was obvious so we decided to create a solution. We thought to ourselves...What would incentivize students to stay off their phones more than free food? By partnering with local businesses who were willing to offer discounts through the app, Pocket Points was born.
Ever since, Pocket Points has been expanding to additional schools as fast as possible to keep up with the demand of students, teachers, and businesses. Currently, Pocket Points is available at over 200 schools in the United States and Canada.
Job Description
Status: Exempt, Full Time
Pocket Points is looking to add motivated and hardworking people to the sales team! As an Entry Level Account Executive, you'll start out by calling local merchants at given territories to add new and exciting businesses to the app for the college students. On a day-to-day basis, you are responsible for creating a great product for our users through the discounts/ rewards being offered.

What You’re Responsible for:
Managing a pipeline of clients
Achieving and exceeding weekly and monthly sales goals
Creating long lasting relationships with business owners and large groups at given territories
Conducting outbound calls through warm and cold leads
Creating a great product with amazing businesses and discounts for the user

Requirements
Must be able to work in Chico, CA
Ability to work full-time (40+ hours per week)

Qualifications
1-2 years of sales experience
1-2 years of CRM knowledge
1-2 years of cold calling and strong phone skills
Strong computer and communication skills
Confident in creating relationships
