Job Description

Professional Services Consultant possesses a deep, enterprise-level understanding of technologies and technology-based skills & trends across a variety of industries. PS Consultant is an expert on the Pluralsight platform and Professional Services Offerings as well as business acumen relevant to executive technology buyers. They serve as both a customer-facing, and internal relationship expert. Consultant needs to have deep experience in a SaaS services or pre-sales environment where they act as an expert in all Professional Services offerings. They not only need to be able to talk to, and upsell the service offerings, but also accountable for the implementation when a customer makes the decision to buy or implement. They will be responsible for the integration, and reporting/analytics service pillars of the Professional Services offerings. Professional Services Consultant APAC role reports directly to Pluralsight’s APAC Customer Success Director and will work closely with them to build the future of the team and go to market offerings.

  • Function as the foremost expert on the Pluralsight content libraries

  • Function as the escalation point and primary liaison between sales and content leadership. This includes being the first resource to the sales team in answering content-related questions

  • Serve as the primary business customer escalation point for content needs and deal statuses that hinge on content availability

  • Own the onboarding experience of Pluralsight’s most valuable customers from end-to-end

  • Be accountable to key metrics that indicate onboarding success

  • Engage Pluralsight customers in a way that increases retention at point of renewal

  • Be an advocate for your assigned customers in providing and obtaining the support required to successfully onboard in a 30 to 90 day time period.

  • Ability to support topics and processes that require business acumen as well as deep technical insights. These technical abilities range from understanding how and where Pluralsight can live in a customer’s ecosystem (e.g. single-sign-on, data feeds, LMS, BI and platform integrations, etc.) to technical content alignment and delivery.

  • Coordinate with the implementation team and be accountable for customer delivery locally.

  • Provide project leadership throughout the onboarding engagement

  • Partner closely with the Pluralsight Presales (Advanced Solutions Architect) team to deliver best-in-class service deliveries

  • Serve as a key member of the Professional Services leadership team to influence strategic decisions such as sales enablement objectives, workflow priorities, and feedback opportunities to peer teams

  • Own business and priority escalations for all requests living in the integration & reporting/analytics services pillar

  • Be a key facilitator and contributor to Sales and Customer Success Enablement in the APAC region by enabling teams to deliver strategic conversations on the Platform and Service Offerings.

  • Define and report on key performance indicators

Qualifications

  • 7+ years enterprise-level experience in a software development, IT/Operations or other technology-related role

  • 3+ years SaaS customer onboarding experience or implementation experience

  • Exposure to Enterprise-grade SaaS applications and show competence in the ability to work within them

  • 3+ years in a SaaS Professional Services or Presales environment working directly with services offerings

  • Understanding of traditional SaaS integration points (SAML SSO, REST APIs)

  • Demonstrated experience with executive level presentations, enterprise sales and/or professional speaking engagements.

  • Excellent business acumen with ability to translate complex technical subjects or features into value-based, strategic conversations.

  • Strong operational aptitude balanced by highly-effective interpersonal skill set

  • Formal project management certifications and work experience in a billable environment a plus

  • Up to 25% Travel Required for on-site customers engagements

  • Self-starter who is able to effectively manage time, prioritize, produce with autonomy, and provide visibility to key initiatives
