Job Description

The Director, Content Production is responsible for leading the creation of the process, tooling, and team responsible for creating project and challenge content with the goal of providing practice and application of knowledge opportunities to over 2​ million developers, IT professionals, data scientists, machine learning, artificial intelligence, security, and cloud experts.

 

Primary responsibilities include aligning interactive production efforts with curriculum learning objective mapping, working with Learner teams to align how content is created and the learners experience, leading the creation and maintenance of appropriate tooling for project and challenge creation, and managing author support from contract to publication of our interactive [practice and apply] content development.

What you’ll own:

  • Speed, non-contract costs, and quality of project/challenge content creation aligned to the coverage map.

  • Leadership, recruit, hire and development of the PMs, UXs, Tech Leads and Content Manager responsible for the projects/challenge content creation pipeline.

  • Publication of project and challenge content to Pluralsight Learning Platform

  • Decrease the time it takes to get a project and interactive content from contract signed to published in the platform

  • Enable contract authors to create projects/challenges

  • Research and align with learner experience leaders to provide interactive content and a learner experience that increase the engagement and application of learning on our platform.

  • Track alignment and impact the interactive content has with key Content metrics

 

Experience you’ll need:

  • Senior product management and design experience

  • Has led medium sized cross-functional teams including product management, design, and engineering

  • Experience aligning and prioritizing product development to business metrics and outcomes

  • Has built new products from the ground up

  • Experience utilizing a customer-centric mindset and directed discovery framework
