Job Description

Pluralsight is seeking an experienced operations leader as our in-region Business Operations Lead as we stand up a new presence in Dublin.   The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building and developing results-oriented teams.  As the EMEA Operations lead, you will be a strategic thinker who is committed to scaling Pluralsight’s presence across EMEA.

As the Operations Lead, you will play a key role as a foundational member of our growing business operations function.  In this role, you will report to the SVP of Strategy and Business Operations.  You will partner with leaders across Pluralsight, serving as the on-the-ground presence who will solve key operational issues, to accelerate Pluralsight’s growth in EMEA.   Above all else, you are passionate about our mission and are committed to help Pluralsight close the technical skills gap for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of building out and hiring of a team in our new EMEA HQ in Dublin, including but not limited to:

    • Recruit great talent and onboard them for success

    • Be a champion of Pluralsight’s culture and and firmly plant our mission and values at EMEA HQ

  • Drive operational excellence in how the day-to-day “run the business” needs for Pluralsight in EMEA are affected

  • Ensure uniform Pluralsight processes, systems, tools and ways of working are established that clearly map back to HQ best practices and standards

  • Work with leaders across the company to establish regional goals and KPIs and develop mechanisms for monitoring progress against them

  • Lead in a “default-to-action” way that allows for creative problem solving that drives growth in the EMEA region

  • Liaise with regional and global leadership (Sales, Marketing, HR, etc.) that effectively removes roadblocks and brings speed to the business.

  • Strong leadership with the ability to create a compelling vision for success and inspire the team to deliver exceptional results

  • Experience in a operations position at a fast-growing technology company

  • Scrappy entrepreneurial approach to everything you do!

  • You default to action and have a knack for influencing others in ways that bring speed to the business to get things done

  • Exceptional problem-solving, business judgment, and analytical skills

  • Relentlessly resourceful and able to drive projects autonomously, with limited oversight

  • High EQ and capable of building strong relationships up, down, and sideways in the organization

  • Strong communication skills with ability to clearly explain complex issues to a range of audiences

  • 7+ years experience leading strategy and operations leadership role
