Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

  • Develop our linked in-club based gaming platform which supports over 40K players
  • Work at all stages of the product lifecycle from requirements capture, design and implementation to system testing and integration.
  • Work with a diverse range of technologies at both front and back end.
  • Maintain and enhance existing product code keeping high-quality coding standards within the team.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
  • Increase efficiency through automation, workflow streamlining, and system optimization.
  • Keep up to date with new technologies and make recommendations to the team.
  • Cooperate with members of the QA and delivery teams to ensure products are tested, installed, and maintained to a high standard.
  • Proactively promote technical excellence and improvements.
  • Contribute to our culture of team collaboration, sharing and collective ownership.

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

  • Have a degree in Computer Science software development or equivalent
  • Have 2+ years of professional experience in developing and delivering high-quality software using:
    • C# .NET and .NET core
    • C++
    • MSSQL
  • A solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Ability to contribute and receive constructive feedback with the team, through the full project lifecycle
  • Have strong problem-solving skills, evidenced through effective solutions
  • Consistently create clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Show clear ownership and responsibility for your work
  • Be well organised, self-motivated and flexible

You'll get extra points for...

  • Experience of developing with game engines:
    • Cocos2d-x
    • Godot
  • Experience of developing high-performance, large-scale applications and APIs
  • Experience with web technologies e.g.
    • ASP .NET Core, Blazor
    • Javascript, Typescript, Angular, React
  • Experience of development using AI Technology
