Ready to level up your networking career? Join Playtech and Grow Across the Entire Networking Stack!

At Playtech, you’ll get the chance to work across every inch of modern networking - from load balancers and firewalls to orchestrators, cloud networking, automation, and large-scale distributed environments.
We're looking for a Senior Network Operations Engineer who wants to dive deep, grow fast, and make a visible impact on global infrastructure powering millions of users.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

  • Keep the traffic flowing: Ensure the reliable operation of global network infrastructure so that services run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Build and transform environments: Take part in new deployments, site expansions, migrations, upgrades, problem investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support, automate, and standardize: Improve traffic flow, routing, and related components with strong focus on automation, standard procedures, and driving needed changes.
  • Experiment, improve, and build smarter: Submit and contribute to automation/orchestration tool enhancements that reduce manual work and increase reliability. Participate in R&D and infrastructure evolution projects, test new technologies, and provide feedback to the Network Development team.
  • Be part of rotating 24/7 resilience - without sitting in front of a monitor: Join an on-call rotation where you are contacted only when needed. This is not a monitoring center role.

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

  • Think like an engineer: You ask questions, dig into details, understand how things truly work, and care about quality and precision.
  • Are a strong networking professional: The larger and more complex the environment you’ve worked with, the better. You have experience running and evolving large-scale, multi‑vendor network infrastructures.
  • Bring hands-on know-how: Comfortable working with firewalls, load balancers, switches, and routers.
  • Stay calm under pressure: You can analyze, prioritize, and act confidently in dynamic environments.
  • Believe in automation: You prefer scripting, automation, and orchestrators over repetitive manual work.
  • Communicate effectively: Clear and professional English is essential to ensure mutual understanding and smooth collaboration. Communication is key.

You'll get extra points for...

  • Experience with Ansible, Pulumi, Terraform, Python or other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with Check Point, F5, Juniper, Cisco, and DDoS mitigation.

Thrive in a culture that values...

  • Innovation: Work with modern tools and technologies to solve unique challenges.
  • Growth: Learn from top specialists, develop your skills, and grow professionally.
  • Well-being: Enjoy support for your professional and personal development.
  • Community: Engage in team events, collaborate with supportive colleagues, and be part of a culture you can be proud of.
