Playtech Managed Services is looking for a proactive Front-End Developer with a strong background in modern web technologies, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for building responsive, user-focused applications.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

  • Build responsive, user-focused web applications using React.js.
  • Implement and manage application state with MobX (stores, actions, observables).
  • Create polished, accessible, and reusable UI components with Material UI.
  • Collaborate closely with designers to transform wireframes and prototypes into high-quality interfaces.
  • Ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance through modern coding best practices.
  • Integrate front-end components seamlessly with REST APIs.
  • Participate in code reviews and uphold team-wide coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot UI issues, optimize performance, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Stay current with evolving front-end trends and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or have completed additional training in a technology-related subject.
  • Bring 2 - 4 years of hands-on experience in front-end development.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in React.js, including Hooks and functional component patterns.
  • Possess solid experience with MobX or another state management library.
  • Are skilled in using Material UI (MUI) for component styling and UI development.
  • Have a strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Are familiar with front-end build tools such as Webpack, Vite, and Babel.
  • Have experience integrating REST APIs into applications.
  • Understand responsive design and accessibility standards, with the ability to design across multiple devices.
  • Are comfortable working with Git and branching workflows.
  • Excel at problem solving and communication, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Thrive in team-oriented environments and bring a friendly, motivated, and organized approach to your work.

You'll get extra points for...

  • Experience with other state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil).
  • Proficiency with TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with SSR frameworks like Next.js.
  • Experience using testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
  • Knowledge of styled components or CSS-in-JS concepts.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile development processes.
