Playtech ‘s Quickspin unit is now looking for a FX Artist to join the Quickspin team in Ukraine or Bulgaria on a 12 month temporary position (maternity cover). 

As our team is international, we are open to considering candidates based in Bulgaria as well.

As a Game FX Artist, you will play a central role and collaborate with different game teams. Your task is to create rich and rewarding effects (mostly real-time) that will have substantial impact on the design and quality of our slot games. Our games have a large variation of themes which will enable you to produce artwork in different styles. At the same time, you will have alternating focus by working on each game for only a few months. You will work with everything from visualizing early game ideas, to producing the final artwork used in our games. This will be done by designing games in close collaboration with both artists and developers to jointly achieve the highest visual quality in mind. In order to play your part successfully, you will need to understand how the games work and being perceived. We believe in working in small agile teams, where the route from idea to implementation is very short. You will work in a casual and fun atmosphere, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference. This is a 12-month fixed-term position (maternity cover).

As our team is international, we are open to considering candidates based in Bulgaria as well.

Qualifications and Experience  

• At least +2 years of work experience as an FX Artist, or similar
• At least +1 years of work experience in the casino industry
• Demonstrated ability to produce effects in a variety of styles in After Effects or similar (real-time engines etc)    
• Experience from working in Spine
• The ability to create optimized in-game effects with device memory limitations in mind
• An interest for game development with a creative, imaginative and curious mindset
• A keen sense for colours and knowledge of colour theory  
• The ability to deliver in an agile, iterative environment where pace is high and all voices matter

• Painting skills and experience with 2D/3D modelling or animation

Quickspin Platform Operations is the robust team with the main goal of maintaining platform uptime  and decrease a revenue loss. In our team we have a shared responsibilities for platform deployments, incident & problem management, services monitoring and customer communication. We are looking for Platform Operations/ Incident & Problem manager for the handling of day-to-day tasks and on-call duties.
