We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Commercial Director who can maximize the financial performance of all Playtech Sports products within an agreed territory or territories. If you have a proven track record in key account management, strategic planning, and customer account management, we would love to hear from you. This role requires a mix of sales and commercial director responsibilities, generating new potential leads and business for the company.
Job Description
Your influential mission. You will...
- Be the initial contact point for all commercial matters with relevant customer stakeholders
- Achieve revenue budget and understand the levers that influence/change the revenue performance
- Retain existing customers and upsell new products and channels
- Generate new potential leads and business for the company
- Proactively provide and sell best practice to ensure full usage of product developments by all customers
- Provide comprehensive internal and external business reports as required
- Sponsor and manage the feature development process
Qualifications
Components for success. You...
- Have proven key account management experience operating on a strategic and day to day operational basis demonstrating strong leadership skills
- Have experience working in the sports betting industry with knowledge of retail and digital sports betting competitors
- Understand sports betting data feeds and have previous experience of dealing with data feeds providers
- Have a strong track record of delivery
- Have excellent communication and customer liaison skills
- Have the ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
- Have sales experience, industry knowledge, and connections ideally from or with operators
- Are comfortable working with and presenting to stakeholders and C-level executives
- Have product expertise not just in sports but also online and retail knowledge
- Know the main competitors, trends, and regulations in the industry
- Have a strong existing network from within the sports industry
- Are a great networker and comfortable to attend the office work environment
