Ready to level up your career? Playtech‘s Finance unit is looking for a a seasoned, detail-oriented, and initiative and goal-driven UK Finance Director to join our dynamic team in our London office.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

  • Be a Leader – Manage, develop and supervise a very large finance team that currently includes 10 members (2 controllers, 2 senior accountants and 6 accountants) located in UK, IOM, Cyprus, and Poland
  • Manage all finance and accounting operations for several legal entities, including supervising all invoicing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
  • Manage month end process with a targeted 3-day month-end
  • Prepare and submit statutory financial statements including managing the external audits according to local GAAP, statutory income tax and VAT filings + reports as well as any other required external finance-related reports
  • Prepare monthly fin package and forecast with full analysis of the expenses
  • Prepare yearly budget with coordination of all relevant departments
  • Submit Monthly and ad-hoc reports to Corporate
  • Be the main point of contact for both internal and external professional questions (e.g. auditors, tax consultants, customers, suppliers, banks, tax authorities, legal etc.)
  • Review and approve all payments and POs
  • Follow and comply with Group Finance policies and procedures

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

  • Must have experience in a senior financial managerial position with a track record of success.
  • Have great experience in preparation of statutory financial statements of UK companies
  • Possess strong technical reporting and accounting knowledge (preferably IFRS)
  • Must be a member of a recognised professional accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CPA)
  • Have a proven track record in financial professional services and/or industry
  • Are capable to work, deliver and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Are available to travel if and when required both domestically and internationally
