• Performance Tuning including tuning/optimizing SQL, PL/SQL code
• Develop PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, SQL statements in Oracle 11g/10g
• Optimizes code as necessary.
• Advanced troubleshooting and resolves report issues.
• Writes status reports, technical specs, procedures, and correspondence.
• Writes code, extract data and generate queries/reports without guidance, integrating data, when necessary, between different data sources
• Experience with building reports, analyses results, and communicating findings.
• Understands of data structure/integration and relational database design
• Performs software and system testing procedures, bug verification, releases testing, and beta support.
• Prepares documentation required of the product.
• Participates in design meetings and consults with other staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system.
• Generates traces, execution plans, identifying performance issues, deadlocks/contention and in general troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
• Maintains database documentation as required.
• Monitors and responds to database alerts.

• 2+ years’ experience as a database developer
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Cross-group collaboration and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility and adaptability
• The skill to work to tight deadlines under pressure
• To have effective communication and collaboration with other teams

• Ability to understand and integrate new technologies.
• Ability to multitask, troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Experience with Monitoring & Diagnostic tools
• Experience with Windows Operating Systems and Web servers
• Experience with with XML, large objects
• Proficient in monitoring and troubleshooting database activity and performance.
• Ability to develop procedure documents and maintain detailed database related documents.
• Innovative approach to work, constantly looking for upgrading the system to more efficient and effective innovative technologies.
• Experience in providing technical advice and guidance to colleagues.
• Experience with SQL Server 2016/2019 ana above will be considered an advantage.
