Job Description

Reports into Independent Business Manager

The role is mainly office based, normal working hours 0900 – 1700 Monday to Friday with the possibility of overtime as well as off-site work as required.

This is a key administrative and organisational role to support the Independent Business Manager’s work dealing with a large number of customers and sites in the retail gambling industry. 

  • Administratively supporting the Independent Business Manager on all work associated with the company’s independent estate of customers.
  • Arranging and coordinating commercial site visits to senior managers within the independent estate as required.
  • Working with Independent Business Manager and customers to support the documentation and administration of customer requirements, system configurations, supply of training guides and marketing material, and similar tasks.
  • Coordinating arrangements for 1:1 or group presentations (roadshows, workshops and similar) as required to support the Independent Business Manager; and working with other departments to facilitate necessary bookings.
  • Supporting the Independent Business Manager in administrating high priority customer-facing issues, including information gathering, response generation and coordinating other departments to ensure they deliver solutions and responses to the customer in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring emails and taking calls to appraise Independent Business Manager of upcoming, potential and possible work within the independent sector.
  • Working with the administration team to support the Independent Business Manager and other stakeholders on routine tasks including: purchase orders, invoicing, contract signature / filing, quotation tracking, report generation and similar matters.

Qualifications

  • Excellent typed, written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work to very tight deadlines and able to assess / prioritise work as required
  • Able to work independently, but also as part of a team
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft™ Office 365™, particularly Word Excel and Teams
  • Ability to generate and edit Powerpoint™ presentations a distinct advantage
  • Full driving licence would be an advantage.
  • A working knowledge of the British bingo industry would be useful but not essential.
