Job Description
- Perform quality control activities;
- Plan, estimate, prioritize and coordinate testing activities with the Team and the QA Team Leader;
- Design, develop, execute and maintain the test cases, test scenarios, use cases, user stories, build the test reports;
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and use the approach described in the existing Test Strategy;
- Review the requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to verify all specified requirements have been fulfilled in the developed product;
- Find, identify and report the failures and defects that were found during testing;
- Take ownership for each assigned task or reported defect and make sure it will be resolved and retested according to its lifecycle and impact;
- Design, develop, debug, execute and maintain the automation scripts using the internal Automation tool for each game;
- Be proactive and solve work-stopping problems, escalate to the QA Team Leader if necessary;
- Provide sufficient information to stakeholders to allow them to make informed decisions, especially regarding the level of Quality;
- Make sure the product complies with the regulatory requirements and standards;
- Test & evaluate products against non-functional characteristics such as performance efficiency, reliability, usability, security, compatibility, and portability;
- Solve complex managerial and technical problems independently or with Manager's help;
- Substitute the Team Leader when he is unavailable (e.g. sick leave, vacation, business trip, etc.), or such position is not covered by structure;
- Thoroughly understand the QA strategy, QA processes, and the QA role during all product development stages & monitor the Team approach complies with it;
- Organize and lead the QA, Development, Product, Cross department meetings, training, or business correspondence if necessary;
- Manage and take ownership of QA sub-processes assigned by the Team Leader (e.g. root cause analysis, test environment upgrade/maintenance, test cases update, etc.);
- Constantly develop skills and get new knowledge in the QA-related domain.
Qualifications
- 3+ year experience as a QA Engineer;
- Experience in Web & Mobile testing;
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence/TestRail;
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes;
- Understanding of Development Life Cycle;
- Understanding of client-server architecture;
- Intermediate English;
- Good communication skills.
