We are now seeking to add to that team by bringing in a Product Marketing Executive to support Playtech’s growth and tell our story better to our customers, stakeholders, and employees.
Job Description
We are looking to recruit an energetic and positive Technical Writer to join our Developer Programme team. The Playtech Developer Programme works with studios building content on the Playtech platform. You will work alongside the innovation teams, marketing, commercial teams, product managers, developers, mathematicians, and testers to help guide and explain how games are made and successfully launched at Playtech.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Improve and maintain the existing Developer Programme documentation and website copy
- Document new features as they are added to the Developer Programme and prepare communications to the game Studios and other relevant teams on any changes and updates
- Work with the Developer Programme Team to find process areas which require further documentation
- Write in-game copy, instructional text and marketing copy
- Work with the Localisation Manager to maintain and update translation processes
- Proofread and amend technical game documentation, in-game text and marketing copy
- Upload and update instructional text on an in-house system to keep pace with changing compliance and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Essential:
- An exceptional grasp of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- The ability to write clear, concise, and accurate instructions for a wide range of audiences.
- The capacity to understand new ideas quickly and convey those ideas to others.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programmes to a high level, including Sharepoint Communication sites.
Desirable:
- A degree in a related subject
- Working knowledge of HTML, json and Markdown files
- Experience working with global teams on concurrent projects
- Experience in the gambling industry or software industry
- Experience with documentation and tracking systems such as Confluence, Jira, Readme.io
- Knowledge of agile processes
- An interest in the gaming and/or gambling industry
- Strong self-motivation and organisation skills
