Job Description

You will be working across a wide variety of business applications and technology solutions.

In this role, we would expect you to:

  • Experienced in overseeing the day-to-day operations of an applications team
  • Familiar working within an ITIL framework or similar
  • Manage a number of incidents/tasks to resolution within SLA
  • Motivate, effectively delegate and help create a positive and dynamic working atmosphere
  • Monitor performance of direct reports and provide coaching and counselling as needed
  • Ensure application resources are assigned appropriately to day-to-day support and projects
  • Be able to write, review and take responsibility for clear, concise technical documentation
  • Be a skilled problem solver and strong analytical thinker
  • Be a good communicator comfortable collaborating with stakeholders

The role will be predominantly be office/home based but may occasionally involve some international travel for project works.

For this role, we expect:

  • Bachelor’s or Graduate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience working in a role of deploying and maintaining software applications.
  • Sound leadership skills.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated individual keen to make an impact.
  • Strong background using Microsoft SQL Server and Windows.
  • Customer-service oriented.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to participate in on-call rotations.

The following would be desirable:

  • ITIL certification
  • Microsoft certification
