As part of the Content Unit which creates and design online games for the gambling industry, Mathematician should take responsibility of creating mathematical models for slot games, balancing games to reach required player experience, validating games' behavior with developers.

Minimum:

• Provide detailed mathematical models for slot games and other game features.
• Offer detailed analysis and explanation of mathematical models.
• Help Game Producer tune the game concepts.
• Validate, simulate (with the help of simulation developers) and sign off mathematical models to ensure they work as intended.
• Troubleshoot with engineers on technical implementation of mathematical models.
• Keep record of games and their simulations.
• Provide answers and explanations to relevant math questions for game designers, engineers, compliance requirements and other departments as necessary.

Preferred:

• Understand successful elements of slot games.
• Develop and explore innovative functionality of slot games.
• Contribute original ideas to game logic and game design team.

Required skills

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or programming, or higher.
• Excellent knowledge of combinatorics, statistics and probability theories.
• Practical knowledge of Java or C Sharp programming.
• Practical knowledge of MS Excel.
• Knowledge of VBA for Excel – advantage.
• Work experience as a mathematician or programmer – advantage.
• Experience with slots – advantage.
