Job Description

At the heart of Sustainable Success, we have three commitments:

Recognising the growing importance of sustainability to the culture and future success of the business, the Company established a Board Sustainability and Public Policy Committee to oversee the Group Sustainability strategy and performance in 2021. In addition, the company established an external Stakeholder Advisory Panel to inform, challenge and strengthen the Company’s approach to sustainability.

About the Role

The primary purpose of this role is to support the Sustainability function in delivering a new ambitious climate change agenda and action plan. Whilst primarily focusing on climate change, the role will also support delivery, collecting and reporting data on other elements of sustainability. This role will work in partnership with colleagues in the business as well those in Corporate Affairs, Playtech Protect, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs, Risk, Internal Audit, Finance and Human Resources.

This is a global role working across all markets and will be based in our London office.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate global programme management and reporting for the company’s sustainability commitments and action plan
  • Support the Sustainability function to coordinating and facilitating the Group’s sustainability forums, which serves as the firmwide governance body on sustainability issues
  • Compile and compose content and quantitative data for Board and senior management and external annual reporting, including climate related indices
  • Support in developing climate action plans in line with the Group wide commitments and plans
  • Provide programme implementation advice, guidance and support to colleagues in countries with varying levels of knowledge, understanding and experience with climate and environmental issues
  • Support the Sustainability function, environmental focal points, risk and finance functions to identify, manage quantify, and monitor climate risks
  • Support the drafting and data required for annual TCFD reporting as part of the annual accounts and disclosures

Additional Information

Specialised Knowledge

  • Expertise and knowledge of climate change as well as environmental issues, more broadly
  • Practical experience implementing and supporting delivery of environmental and climate change strategies and programming in large, global companies
  • Practical experience preparing sustainability data for internal and external reporting purpose including compiling, analysing and preparing extensive and complex environmental and carbon data sets and analytics
  • A strong understanding of the changing climate related regulatory and reporting requirements, standards and policy developments
  • A strong network and relationships with environmental NGOs is a bonus
