Job Description

Playtech is strengthening its Group Corporate Affairs and Sustainability function and is seeking a Senior Internal Communications Manager to lead the design, delivery and implementation of the employee engagement strategy.

About the Role

This new role is part of the Group Corporate Affairs and Sustainability function and will be responsible for all aspects of employee communication and engagement globally. This position will support the business by ensuring that we have effective communication, including two-way engagement channels, and the ability to discuss and capture ideas, insights, concerns and feedback on the issues that matter to our colleagues.

This position will serve as a trusted advisor to executive management, human resources and business leaders on all internal corporate communications matters. The role will provide invaluable advice to the business and collaborate with leadership to develop an appropriate internal response to key issues.

This role will also ensure the company has an efficient process to cascade critical business information and developments through various channels and support the planning and execution of communications for both business as usual and change programmes.  

The role will also partner with and support the HR leadership team and function to deliver communications and engagement related to employee-focused programs.

This is a global role working across all markets. The preferred location is London, but flexible to other sites where Playtech has an office.

 

Qualifications

Establish:

  • A global communication process, protocols and plans and calendar for the year ahead
  • A network of stakeholders to help them to identify, research, craft and share engaging internal stories and engaging content and support regional communication roles by providing great tools, guidance and content
  • Establish a structured, effective global employee engagement strategy and implementation plan

Plan:

  • Plan, develop, deliver and measure strategic employee communication, and engagement activities with stakeholders and peers

Create and develop:

  • Campaigns to promote the company values and commitment to sustainability and help to connect colleagues with our Sustainable Success strategy and ensure that colleagues understand their contribution to delivery against our commitments.
  • Multi-channel communication and engagement content - translating narrative into engaging, inspiring and impactful communications          

Design and Implement:

  • Change communications programmes
  • The ways of working for internal communications (Channels, structure, roles and responsibilities, content etc) to create an effective, efficient and impactful internal comms structure moving forward
  • Internal communication training to all country and business unit leads

Manage:

  • All internal communications, ensuring the Group has effective methods and practices for cascading throughout the whole organisation
  • The communication of all relevant information and campaigns across PT entities alongside business units, functional leaders, country managers, and the HR function.
  • The process for out-of-industry awards; by researching and submitting nomination profiles
  • Employee feedback and utilise survey data to inform employee engagement strategies

Additional Information

Essential Skills

  • Ability to build and maintain a network of internal relationships at senior levels across the business.
  • Experience in managing and administering intranet platforms
  • Ability to practically demonstrate developing and delivering creative and impactful communications using a multi-channel approach, including digital engagement platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Experience writing for a global audience, particularly in understanding the subtleties between British English and American English.

  • Data-driven – experience working with employee surveys and other feedback instruments to understand and improve colleague engagement
  • Experience and track record of preparing executive briefing notes, presentations and speeches for executives.

  • Working with digital assets, including intranet sites
  • Working with and/or in listed global companies is a plus.
  • A background in journalism or marketing is beneficial.
